1. Introduction – Who are we?

Webranking S.r.l., with registered office at Via Oratorio 12/A, 42105 – Correggio (Reggio Emilia) VAT number 01779850351, registered with the Reggio Emilia Companies Register under number RE-222647 (hereinafter, "Data Controller"), owner of the website webranking.it (hereinafter, the "Site"), as Data Controller of the personal data of users browsing the Site (hereinafter, "Users") provides below the privacy notice pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter, "Regulation", or "Applicable Law").

The Data Controller takes the utmost consideration of the right to privacy and the protection of personal data of its Users.

For any information regarding this privacy notice, Users can contact the Data Controller at any time, using the following methods:

3. What do we do? – Purposes of processing

The User can contact the Data Controller through the appropriate form, by navigating the Site, or via email using the addresses available on the Site.  In relation to such activities, the Data Controller collects personal data related to Users.

This Site and any services offered through the Site are reserved for individuals who have reached the age of eighteen. The Data Controller does not collect personal data related to individuals under the age of 18. Upon request from Users, the Data Controller will promptly delete all personal data inadvertently collected and related to individuals under the age of 18.  

In particular, the personal data of Users will be lawfully processed for the following processing purposes:

 

  • fulfilling the User's request: the personal data of Users are collected and processed by the Data Controller solely for the purpose of fulfilling their request. The data of the User collected by the Data Controller for this purpose include name, surname, company, email address, and any additional data of the User that may be voluntarily communicated by the User. No other processing will be carried out by the Data Controller in relation to the personal data of Users. Without prejudice to what is provided elsewhere in this privacy notice, under no circumstances will the Data Controller make the personal data of Users accessible to other Users and/or third parties.

 

  • administrative-accounting purposes, that is to carry out activities of an organizational, administrative, financial, and accounting nature, such as internal organizational activities and activities functional to the fulfillment of contractual and pre-contractual obligations;

 

  • legal obligations, that is to comply with obligations provided by law, by an authority, by a regulation, or by European legislation.

The provision of personal data for the above-mentioned processing purposes is optional but necessary, as the failure to provide the same will prevent the User from making their request to the Data Controller.
The personal data necessary for pursuing the processing purposes described in this paragraph 3 are indicated with an asterisk within the request form.

 

4. Legal basis

Fulfilling the User's request (as described in par. 3, lett. a)): the legal basis consists of Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. b) of the Regulation, as the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract and/or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the User.

Administrative-accounting purposes (as described in par. 3, lett. b)): the legal basis consists of Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. b) of the Regulation, as the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract and/or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the User.

Legal obligations (as described in the previous par. 3, lett. c)): the legal basis consists of Article 6, paragraph 1, lett. c) of the Regulation, as the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which the Data Controller is subject.

 

5. Processing methods and data retention times

The Data Controller will process the personal data of Users using manual and IT tools, with logic strictly related to the same purposes and, in any case, in a way that ensures the security and confidentiality of the data themselves. 

The personal data of Users will be retained for the time strictly necessary to fulfill the primary purposes (as described in the previous paragraph 3), or in any case according to what is necessary for the protection in civil law of the interests of the Data Controller and Users. 

 

6. Scope of communication and dissemination of data

The personal data of the User may be transferred outside the European Union and, in this case, the Data Controller will ensure that the transfer occurs in compliance with the Applicable Law and, in particular, in accordance with Articles 45 (Transfer based on an adequacy decision) and 46 (Transfer subject to adequate safeguards) of the Regulation. 

Employees and/or collaborators of the Data Controller who are responsible for managing the Site and the requests of Users may become aware of the personal data of Users. These subjects, who have been instructed in this regard by the Data Controller pursuant to Article 29 of the Regulation, will process the data of Users exclusively for the purposes indicated in this privacy notice and in compliance with the provisions of the Applicable Law. 

Furthermore, third parties who may process personal data on behalf of the Data Controller as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, such as, by way of example, providers of IT and logistics services functional to the operation of the Data Controller's Site, outsourcing or cloud computing service providers, professionals, and consultants may also become aware of Users' personal data. 

The User has the right to obtain a list of any data processors appointed by the Data Controller by requesting it from the Data Controller using the methods indicated in the following paragraph 7.

 

7. Rights of the data subjects

The User may exercise the rights guaranteed by the Applicable Law at any time by contacting the Data Controller using the following methods: 

  • By sending a registered letter to the legal office of the Data Controller (via Oratorio 12/A – 42015 – Correggio (Reggio Emilia) – Italy);
  • By sending an email to infoprivacy@webranking.it.

According to the Applicable Law, the User has the right to obtain the indication (i) of the origin of personal data; (ii) of the purposes and methods of processing; (iii) of the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic tools; (iv) of the identifying details of the data controller and processors; (v) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them as processors or persons in charge. 

 

Furthermore, the User has the right to obtain: 

a) access, updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of the data; 

b) deletion, transformation into anonymous form or limitation of the data processed in violation of the law, including those for which retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed; 

c) the confirmation that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, including regarding their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in cases where such fulfillment proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate use of means in relation to the protected right. 

 

As well as: 

a) the right to withdraw consent at any time, if the processing is based on their consent; 

b) (if applicable) the right to data portability (the right to receive all personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format); 

c) the right to object

        i) in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data concerning them, even if relevant to the purpose of collection; 

        ii) in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data concerning them for the purposes of sending advertising material or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication; 

        iii) if personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, at any time, to the processing of data carried out for such purposes, including profiling to the extent connected to such direct marketing purposes. 

d) if they believe that the processing concerning them violates the Regulation, the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the Member State where they habitually reside, in the one where they work, or in the one where the alleged violation occurred). The Italian supervisory authority is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, located at Piazza Venezia, n. 11, 00187 – Rome (RM) (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/). 

 

8. Report execution

Our automated software for generating the requested report will carry out a series of checks on the domain/site you indicated in order to provide you with an analysis of the main quality indicators of a web software.

During the audit process, some of our tools will make calls to the indicated website. These calls are necessary to collect relevant data and information in order to generate a complete report. However, it is important to keep in mind that the final responsibility for any unlikely malfunctions or crashes of your website, which may be caused by the calls made by our audit tool, falls on the end user who requested the report. Webranking does not assume any responsibility for any damages or interruptions that may occur during the audit process.

By requesting the report, the User declares that they have the authority to authorize the use of tools on the indicated domain. Furthermore, they grant Webranking permission to use automated tools to perform checks on performance, SEO, security, and accessibility.
