In 2019, the Calzedonia Group launched an important replatforming project involving all of the group’s e-commerce sites, which meant that migration to the Salesforce platform had to be precisely managed and monitored, so as not to lose acquired positioning or revenues.

Approach
Webranking was chosen by the Calzedonia Group to help guide its replatforming process, thanks to the tech expertise it has acquired on e-commerce projects.
The project as a whole involved numerous actors, and Webranking took its place as a strategic partner in the business’s journey of digital transformation, handling SEO consulting and Digital Analytics, guiding technological choices involving data generation and dissemination in order to translate marketing needs into requirements.
We constantly provided the Group with the support and knowledge necessary to facilitate technical implementation of the actions recommended in the way that fit best with their plans for development.
Results
The project was complex due to the number of sites and of country areas involved. Despite this, the replatforming was handled precisely and meticulously. Tracking continuity ensured that site performance remained high; we even registered an overall increase in traffic beginning in May 2019.
