Webranking with Unimore: 4 STEM scholarships to support tomorrow's talents and reduce the gender gap

At Webranking, we believe that the future of innovation depends on people. For this reason, we have chosen to invest concretely in the training of STEM talents, collaborating with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia to support students in their academic journey, with a particular focus on girls.
Thus was born the call for the allocation of four scholarships dedicated to STEM degree courses, with special attention to the promotion of equal opportunities.
New opportunities for STEM talents and a concrete commitment to girls
The project is worth a total of 10,000 euros and is aimed at female and male students enrolled in the second year of the three-year bachelor's degree courses in Computer Engineering and Data Analysis for Business and Finance, in the academic year 2025/2026. Two scholarships are open to all, but even these represent a concrete opportunity for girls who choose a STEM path. The other two are reserved exclusively for female students: a clear, non-symbolic sign of the agency's commitment.
“The initiative funded by Webranking aims to support the academic journey of young talents in STEM fields and to concretely promote equal opportunities, with particular attention to increasing female presence in technical-scientific fields” - Prof. Elena Bassoli, Rector's Delegate for Equal Opportunities.
Not just financial support: the value of Webranking mentorship
In addition to the financial contribution, the winners will have the opportunity to participate in a mentorship program at Webranking, aimed at developing advanced skills in the field of digital technologies and facilitating their entry into the workforce. The initiative represents an important opportunity for integration between university and business, helping to strengthen the link between academic training and digital innovation.
“We believe strongly in initiatives like this: we didn't just want to support a course of study, but to accompany it. For this reason, we combine the scholarship with a concrete mentorship experience and direct engagement with our work at the agency,” comments Nereo Sciutto, CEO of Webranking
